Team Florea Sorin put the Romanian flag on the highest level of performance in the international competition Derby Arona Tenerife 2016

Noah is the highest ranked of all pigeons from Romania in the history of the Derby Arona Tenerife.

Derby Arona Tenerife is one of the most demanding races in which only the best trained pigeons manage to cope with extremely difficult conditions. Besides the exceptional genetic qualities of pigeons, the fanciers have the highest merit. Starting from the selection lot of pigeons that joined the competition, with physical training and food diet, success is shared equally by these magicians of pigeons sports and their birds.

This fabulous result is the result of the knowledge, experience and total dedication of two people: Ion Florea and Nikolaas Gyselbrecht.

Know by all as “Nea Ion Pea”, Ion Florea has been a perfect fancier all his life. 1st place in each category, regardless of race, is what it has always followed. With an experience of over 65 years in our sport, “Nea Ion Pea” and Nikolaas Gyselbrecht PIPA.BE founder, a visionary par excellence and one of the best fanciers confirmed by this internationally results, were day by day, hour by hour , minute by minute with the pigeons and carefully observed and prepared them for this contest.

Team Florea Sorin manages, with the pigeon Noah, an outstanding 5th place in the final Derby Arona Tenerife 2016. The difference between the first ranked bird and Noah was of only three seconds, which is why we can say without any exaggeration that all the first five pigeons are champions of this edition.
490 pigeons from 33 countries with outstanding results and tradition were enrolled in the final Derby Arona Tenerife 2016. The start was given at 8.50 local time. Pigeons have had to travel a distance of 275 km on a sunny weather, with a temperature of 23 degrees C and a wind of 21 km / h from NE.
Team Florea Sorin confirms once again the results in the semifinal that took place two weeks ago, where pigeon Flor 11 reached the finish just 10 seconds after the winner, ranking Romania on the 12th place.
In today’s final Team Florea Sorin competed with 8 birds, out of which the next 6 finished the race.
